Changes To Paid Parking Hours In Taradale

Earlier this year, in response to approaches from businesses and sporting groups within Taradale, Napier City Council resolved the following changes to paid parking in the Taradale area:

• a. That the existing pay and display areas of Gloucester Street, White Street and Puketapu Road be changed to 120 minute pay and display areas (previously 60 minutes).
• b. That the existing pay and display area of Lee Road Carpark be changed to a 180 minute pay and display area (previously 120 minutes).
• c. That paid parking in Symons Lane cease at 1.00pm on Saturday.

These changes are scheduled to come into effect over the weekend of 29 and 30 October 2011. There will be new signage erected and/or updated pay and display software for machines in the area to reflect the above changes.
