Rotorua centre stage for top Australian travel writers

The Australian Society of Travel Writers (ASTW) will hold their AGM and annual convention in Rotorua from 29 October- 31 October, where over 70 delegates will experience attractions and activities around Rotorua.

Tourism New Zealand is partnering with Destination Rotorua Tourism Marketing to leverage this opportunity which includes pre- and post-conference tours that will showcase other highlights of New Zealand. The convention is also supported by Air New Zealand.

Tourism New Zealand welcomes this opportunity to increase its international exposure to one of its key markets.

Tourism New Zealand General Manager Brand & PR Catherine Bates says the organisation is working with industry partners to deliver a rich experience for ASTW members.

"Travel writers are influential in helping active considerers make decisions and the beauty of travel conferences is that these writers get to write from actual experience. They are able to have some very pure experiences here in New Zealand and really know what we have to offer."
