There’s help at their fingertips for students searching for their next step in life - at the Marlborough District Library.

An In-Zone Careers Kiosk – with a touchscreen – has been installed, offering sources of career information for young people.

Relevant to all Year levels, the information kiosk can help students find websites and on-line videos about a range of employment and training opportunities in organisations and sectors including the defence forces, trades, seafood, plastics and wool industries and other tertiary training organisations. It can also help students to understand the subjects they need to advance in different areas of work.

A request lodged through the kiosk’s automated email system can be directed to a relevant industry training organisation, which will respond directly to the student who made the enquiry.

The kiosk is located downstairs to the left of the main counter.
