Leading energy company Chevron has announced AA Smartfuel discounts of up to six cents per litre on Caltex fuel when the fuel savings programme launches on Monday 7 November.

Caltex will offer all AA Smartfuel cardholders four cents per litre discount when spending $40 or more on petrol or diesel, with AA members getting a bonus two cents per litre discount (totalling six cents) at more than 150 Caltex service stations nationwide.

“The Automobile Association is this country’s most-respected motoring organisation with over a million members,” said Chevron General Manager Peter Morris.

“Chevron is proud to be a foundation partner of this exciting new driver rewards programme through our trusted Caltex brand, which has been part of the New Zealand landscape for 75 years,” he said.

“With our extra discount offer, Caltex service stations are more than just locations to redeem AA Smartfuel discounts, they’re reward earners in their own right. Motorists get two opportunities to save.”

“AA Members have for years been asking us for ways to lower their fuel costs,” said AA Smartfuel General Manager Ian Sutcliffe.

“We are pleased to partner with the trusted Caltex brand as one of our two redeeming fuel companies, and to have this extra discount offer is a great bonus for our members and for all AA Smartfuel cardholders.”-2-

The AA Smartfuel card is available free from participating Caltex service stations from Monday 7 November.
