Fonterra Management Change

Fonterra Co-operative Group said today that its Managing Director Global Ingredients and Foodservice (GIF) Andrei Mikhalevsky had resigned and would leave the co-operative at the end of the year.

Mr Mikhalevsky has accepted a senior role with US-based California Dairies Inc.

Fonterra Chief Executive Theo Spierings said Mr Mikhalevsky joined the co-operative almost five years ago to manage its premium ingredients business globally.

“He has done a great job leading the premium ingredients business and forging strong customer partnerships.

“We wish him well for the future and thank him for his contribution to Fonterra,” said Mr Spierings.

Fonterra’s Director of Global Formulated Foods Alex Turnbull will be the Acting Managing Director GIF while a formal recruitment process is underway.
