Raydar And Touch/Cast Join Forces To Bring New Digital Offering To Auckland
Digital activation agency Touch/Cast and retail advertising agency Raydar have joined forces to bring a new digital offering to the Auckland market. The venture will be headed up by well-known Digital Evangelist, Zac Pullen.
Both agencies have a strong presence in Auckland already, however combining resources under a dedicated and experienced digital leader will strengthen both their offerings. Zac will be based in Auckland and work across both Touch/Cast and Raydar to help service clients and formulate and run projects for both agencies.
Raydar Managing Director, Darryl McClay says:
"Digital is playing an increasingly important role in customer purchasing decisions. As a retail agency, we are looking to innovate and lead digital within the retail space. Zac brings a huge amount of experience and expertise to Raydar's digital arm and the agency is thrilled to have nabbed an industry leader of his calibre.
"In today's challenging market, more than ever before, retailers and brands need their agencies to innovate and provide integrated campaigns that deliver real results at all levels.
Having a strong digital capability is crucial to this. We are also looking forward to working with Andrew and his team from Touch/Cast. They are producing amazing work for their clients and we regard sharing our respective areas of expertise as a positive step for both sets of clients."
Andrew Hawley, Managing Director and Creative Director at Touch/Cast agrees:
“Currently we do a lot of work remotely from our Wellington office, so this partnership is a great way for Touch/Cast to ramp up its service in Auckland and bolster its senior thought leadership in the digital space. We’re really excited about Zac having an influence on our clients' projects – he offers another dimension to what is already a very dynamic team.
"We’re also excited about working more closely with Raydar – our agency cultures are very similar, with both agencies passionate about delivering ROI for clients in all facets of work."
Zac brings valuable experience to the role having led digital campaigns for Fonterra, Air New Zealand, BP, Rebel Sport, Vero, Super Liquor, Isuzu and Ecostore.
Zac is actively involved within the marketing industry and is currently an advisory board member for the Unitec Department of Management and Marketing. In the past, he has been a national board member for the New Zealand Marketing Association, as well as chairman of the eMarketing Network and trainer on Practical Email Marketing courses.
Zac is the third new senior addition for Touch/Cast this month. Interactive Developer Marc Broad recently joined the team after being with Y&R in Paris for three years, and Vanessa Buchannan has been named Business Operations and Strategy after several years' client-side working at Contact Energy, Kiwibank and AXA.
Both Raydar and Touch/Cast are Clemenger Group companies.
