Names Released

Southland Police have released the names of the two men who died following the capsizing and sinking of a recreational fishing vessel in Foveaux Strait early last evening.

They were Shaun David Bethune, 23, of Ryal Bush, Southland and Lindsay James Cullen, 59, of Brydone, Southland.

Maritime NZ and Police are investigating the incident and the matter has also been referred to the Coroner.
