Water Supply Shutdowns

Awatere Area

Council wishes to advise all residents in Marama Road east of Waterfalls Road, Old Ford Road, Camerons Road, Seddon Township, Seaview Road, Reserve Road, and Flemings Road areas that the water supply will be off on Tuesday 17 January 2012 from 9.00 am to 12.00 pm to enable the replacement of leaking valves in Marama Road.

Should the weather be unsuitable this shutdown will be postponed until 18 January 2012 or 19 January 2012.

Water supply may be resumed at any time between these hours without further notice.

Alabama Road area

The Marlborough District Council wishes to advise residents in

Alabama Road – east of Redwood Street
Redwood Street – Alabama Road to Mitchell Street
Rosewood Place

that the water will be shut down

on: Tuesday 17 January 2012
from: 3.30 pm
until: 4.30 pm

Residents are advised to store water prior to the shutdown for use during the period when water is not available.

Should the weather be unsuitable this shutdown will be postponed until the next fine working day.

This shutdown will enable installation of a valve.

Council apologises for any inconvenience that this may cause, and advises that the supply may be resumed at any time between these hours without further notice.
