Two further victims of Carterton balloon crash formally identified

Two further victims of Saturday's fatal hot air balloon crash have been formally identified to the satisfaction of Coroner Peter Ryan.

They were Valerie Bennett, aged 70, of Masterton and Belinda Harter, aged 49 years, of Lower Hutt.

The family of Belinda do not wish to have any further contact with media and have asked that her funeral remains private for family and friends only.

The family of Valerie are considering a media statement, however they too would like Valerie's service to be private, for family and friends only.
