Recycled building materials, fixtures and fittings, furniture, kitchenware, lawnmowers or toys – there’s a second-hand treasure trove at the Re-Use Shop at the Resource Recovery Centre at the end of Wither Road.

The Re-Use Shop is a disposal point for anyone wanting to get rid of items that still have some life in them. The shop will accept most re-saleable items, not including clothing or shoes.

So, rather than paying dump fees and filling up the landfill, leave items at the Re-Use Shop at the Wither Road recycling hub. Second-hand whiteware and lawn mowers are in particular demand at the moment.

Everything is very cheaply priced and it’s a great place to find spare parts.

  • Opening hours: 8.00 am-4.30 pm Monday to Friday and 10.00 am-4.00 pm at the weekend.
  • Enquiries to the Re-Use Shop, Ph: 03 578 7917.
