Clarke Gayford conquers the Black Abyss as part of The Great Pascall Road Trip
Popular MORE FM radio host and TV presenter Clarke Gayford sampled the beauty of New Zealand’s underworld yesterday during his time in Waitomo as part of The Great Pascall Road Trip.
Clarke was in town for his fourth adventure on the Pascall lollies ultimate kiwi road trip which is broadcast on MORE FM, abseiling 35m into the Black Abyss of Waitomo’s Ruakuri Cave with the team from The Legendary Black Water Rafting Company.
Clarke says the Black Abyss tour and the cave, with its glowworm studded ceilings and enchanting waterfalls , had a little bit of everything for the perfect black water rafting tour – abseiling, tubing, a flying fox and climbing waterfalls. “It’s something every kiwi should do as part of the great New Zealand road trip.”
Clarke is broadcasting his show live from each stop on the road trip on the More FM network around New Zealand from 4- 7pm.
He and the Pascall team are making their way down the rest of the country in their lolly filled Britz campervan, which set off across New Zealand on 16th of January for a two week tour travelling from Cape Reinga to Stewart Island.
A new town means a new adventure and during much of the tour Clarke will share his adventures with local residents who will join him for the day –from swimming with dolphins in Paihia, to jet boating in the Hauraki Gulf, or visiting the gannet colony in Hawke’s Bay to name a few!
Kiwis can win their own Great Pascall Road Trip at www.morefm.co.nz care of Britz campervans, which includes a 7 day holiday in a Britz campervan plus $5000 cash. Check out the daily videos of Clarke and The Great Pascall Road Trip on www.facebook/com/PascallNewZealand
