The Naenae Computer Clubhouse is celebrating its second anniversary with an open day on Friday, 17 February, and everyone is invited to come along between 3-6.30pm to check it out.

The Naenae Computer Clubhouse is celebrating its second anniversary with an open day on Friday, 17 February, and everyone is invited to come along between 3-6.30pm to check it out.

Clubhouse Coordinator Erica Herron says the clubhouse, which has about 150 members, has been a huge success.

“The Clubhouse offers a free, safe place for young people aged between 10-18 to create projects in video, music, design, robotics, animation and much more. Some of our members love it so much they’re here most days.”

The Clubhouse was the fourth to open in New Zealand and is part of a global community of 100 clubhouses in 20 countries.

It is open Monday to Friday from 3-6.30pm with late night on Wednesday and Friday.
