Shine on Palmy

Shine on Palmy!- it’s not quite NZ Idol but it’s the competition which will put our CBD retailers’ creativity under the spotlight!


It’s the competition where the search is on for the most creative and brightest shop front windows in the CBD. The aim of Shine on Palmy! is to transform our city during the holiday season, and spread that Festive Cheer!


November 1 is the launch date when Santa’s secret elves, assisted by our Mayor Jono, will visit CBD retailers from 2-5 pm to deliver the mission packs. Should they choose to accept, retailers will have their displays up for viewing by December 1.


And the best bit- voting is up to you, our Festive Cheer Experts! Voting opens on Dec 1- 15. The top four shops will go through to the finals where our panel of celebrity judges will be left to make the tough decision of crowning one shop, the winner! With a total prize pool of $6,500, there are plenty of prizes up for grabs for retailers and voters!
