By-election for Spreydon-Heathcote Community Board member

As a result of the recent resignation of Spreydon-Heathcote Community Board member Mike Thorley, a by-election will be held on Friday 11 May 2012 for the vacant position.

Nominations for the position of Community Board member for the Spreydon-Heathcote Ward are now open and they will close at 12 noon on Thursday 22 March 2012.

Nomination forms are available from the Beckenham Service Centre and South Christchurch Library, 66 Colombo Street and at Ground Floor Reception Civic Office, 53 Hereford Street.

The preliminary electoral roll for Spreydon-Heathcote is now open for people to check if they are enrolled to vote. The roll will close on Monday 16 April 2012.

Voting papers will be sent to enrolled Spreydon-Heathcote residents from Wednesday 18 April to Friday 11 May 2012. Voting closes 12 noon on Friday 11 May 2012.
