North Canterbury river rating districts – meetings coming up

Ratepayers in the Hanmer and Kaikoura river rating districts are encouraged to have their say on flood protection and land drainage for their properties. Environment Canterbury is holding a series of public meetings over the next month to discuss works programmes, budgets and rating levels for the next 12 months. Elections for liaison committee members will occur in 2014.

The following ratepayer meetings are planned:
