Notification of District Plan Alteration

NOTIFICATION OF NOTICE OF REQUIREMENT FOR AN ALTERATION TO AN EXISTING DISTRICT PLAN DESIGNATION (D35) AND ADDITION OF NEW LAND TO THIS DESIGNATION UNDER SECTION 168A AND IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 95A OF THE RESOURCE MANAGEMENT ACT 1991

The Manawatu District Council gives notice of its requirement for an alteration to an existing designation (D 35 Sewage Treatment Purposes) and the addition of new land to this designation.

Description of Proposal

The existing designation for Sewage Treatment Purposes (D35) is to be added to and corrected as follows:

• Correction to the legal description of the existing designation D35 Feilding STP
• Correction to the extent of the existing designated land shown on Planning Map 15
• Additions to the designation for public work comprising the spray irrigation of treated wastewater from the Feilding Wastewater Treatment Plan over nearby farmland
• And that the additional land to be designated should be described in the Manawatu District Plan as "Designated for Sewage Treatment Purposes"
