Southland District Council Appoints New Group Manager

Cameron McIntosh has been appointed as the new Group Manager Services and Assets at Southland District Council.

Mr McIntosh comes to Council from the Alliance Group’s Invercargill office where he was the Group Logistics Manager.

Council Chief Executive David Adamson said that Mr McIntosh, who began work atCouncil on October 18, leads a busy team of technical staff which work to provide avariety of services for the District including water and waste, roading, forestry and property management.

Mr McIntosh spent nearly 13 years at the Alliance Group and is Southland born and bred.

He has a Bachelor of Technology degree in biotechnology from MasseyUniversity and lives in Invercargill with his partner Lisa and their two children.

“I am excited about the challenge ahead and I look forward to be working for the people of Southland District”, Mr McIntosh said.
