Labour's thoughts with soldier's family

Labour’s Defence Spokesperson Iain Lees-Galloway has today extended his sympathy and condolences to the family of Corporal Douglas Hughes, who died in Afghanistan yesterday (April 3, 2012).

“The death of a soldier serving his country is always a tragedy. The Defence Force is a close-knit community and Corporal Hughes’ loss will be felt deeply.

“On behalf of my colleagues I would like to offer his family and his friends our thoughts and condolences,” Iain Lees-Galloway said.
