Fresh Look To Council's Page

The new sunshine symbol at the top of this page is the Marlborough District Council’s refreshed logo.
It’s a modernised take on the maroon and gold sun logo that has served us well for more than a decade.

There were technical difficulties using the old design in some of our new digital material so the original designer, Alex Lloyd, has given it a make-over – so it is usable for all our on-line services as well as our publications. It can now be easily reproduced in different sizes on everything from pamphlets and signs to the doors of Council vehicles.

We’ve kept the blue and gold colours of the sea, sky and sun that is synonymous with Marlborough and the new logo is clean, sharp and simple – the essence of good design.

The old version of the Council brand will be about for some time yet – we’ll be using up all the old stationery, brochures and order forms first.
