Local businesses well-represented in Gold Award line-up

Mayor Ray Wallace is impressed six Lower Hutt-based businesses have been announced as finalists in this year’s Wellington Gold Awards.

“It’s fantastic to see local businesses recognised for their hardwork and innovation in this way.

“I’m proud Lower Hutt is home to such a wealth of talent and I wish all our local finalists the best of luck ahead of the awards dinner at TSB Arena on May 31.

”The Lower Hutt-based businesses are:

• Black Gold By GNS Science in the Discovering Gold category
• Im-Able and TenderRest in the Emerging Gold category
• Sanpro Industries in the Global Gold category
• NZ Diving and Salvage in the Supporting Gold category
• KiwiRail Hutt Workshop in the ACC Workplace Safety Award
