Kapiti Police are seeking help from the public to identify a male who used a credit card multiple times at a Raumati ATM machine, which had been earlier stolen from a car in Waikanae.

Detective Mike Stone of the Kapiti CIB says around 3am on the 25th of March, a vehicle was broken into in Kakariki Grove, Waikanae and a number of items were subsequently stolen, including credit cards.

"About an hour later, one of the credit cards has then been used multiple times at the ANZ ATM in Raumati, outside the Four Square, where an amount of cash was withdrawn."

Detective Stone says despite a number of enquiries to date, Police have been unable to identify the offender in the attached CCTV images and would like to hear from anyone who may recognise this male.

"Anyone with any information should contact Kapiti Police on (04) 296 6800 or phone Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
