Wellington Police seek witnesses to central city crash yesterday morning

WELLINGTON CITY

Wellington Police are seeking witnesses to yesterday morning's crash involving a cyclist and a car on The Terrace.

Sergeant Graeme Bergh of the Wellington Police Strategic Traffic Unit says a male cyclist crashed into a car near the intersection of The Terrace and MacDonald Crescent around 8:05am yesterday morning.

"We are continuing to investigate this crash but would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the crash, particularly road users travelling down The Terrace towards Ghuznee Street."

The cyclist, aged in his 30's, was taken to Wellington Hospital following the crash where he remains.
