It’s nomination time for the Champion Canterbury Business Awards, and a proud sponsor Harvey|Cameron is encouraging Cantabrian businesses to enter, or nominate companies they believe have succeeded against the odds that the 2011 year presented.

As Neil Cameron, Managing Director of Harvey|Cameron says, there’s never been a more important time to support the awards.

“Champion Canterbury Business Awards are an opportunity to acknowledge the resilience of companies, small and large, that have endured so much and continued to achieve success.  And with this, the 10th anniversary of the awards, there’s extra reason to celebrate,”

Harvey|Cameron, which employs 45 staff in thecity, is the advertising company behind memorable campaigns including Jockey's “Dan Carter”, Versatile Homes & Building's “Richie McCaw” and Cash Converter's "Josh".  Harvey|Cameron work with local, national and international clients; Zinpro Corporation is based in Minnesota, and Harvey|Cameron look after their work in more than 20 countries.  Mr Cameron says he is proud to be part of the enthusiasm, commitment and continued success of the Canterbury business community.

Mr Cameron says it was the strength displayed by so many Canterbury businesses that inspired Harvey|Cameron’s involvement in sponsorship of the Awards.

“We’ve seen so many companies respond with generosity to staff, customers, and their community – and that deserves our respect and recognition.”

Mr Cameron and the team at Harvey|Cameron are now calling on businesses to visit www.championcanterbury.org.nz and nominate today.  The awards are to be held on 27th September 2012.

Nominations close on May 30.
