Alienware Pod makes special CRC Speedshow appearance

The Alienware Pod, which showcases some of the world’s most powerful gaming systems, is making a special one-off appearance at this year’s CRC Speedshow.
Among the ever-increasing line-up of cars and motorcycles – new, classic and customised – the Alienware Pod will take a prime position alongside show naming rights’ sponsor CRC to provide show visitors with a free opportunity to experience the power of the Alienware system.
Keith Sharp, CRC Speedshow’s developer and promoter, is looking forward to seeing the Alienware Pod being enjoyed throughout the show which runs over the weekend of 21 and 22 July at ASB Showgrounds in Auckland.
“When the opportunity to have the Alienware Pod at CRC Speedshow was offered, I jumped at it,” says Sharp. “The entire set-up looks amazing with the wrap-around screen display, the hydraulic-powered seat and the Bose sound system all linked to the hugely powerful Alienware gaming computers. It’s a fantastic chance for us to offer CRC Speedshow visitors an added attraction for this year’s show.”
Staff from Fairfax’s PC World magazine will look after the Alienware Pod with players, one at a time, able to enjoy a mainstream gaming title. There will be no age restrictions.

Our designers answered this question by connecting an extreme Area 51 desktop system, 72” wrap-around display, Bose sound, dynamic LED lighting and hydraulic movement into one amazing PC gaming system. We’re looking forward to CRC Speedshow fans enjoying the might of Alienware!”
The July running of CRC Speedshow marks the show’s sixth successful year. With a high array of new cars and motorbikes on display, a busy schedule of entertainment ready to run in the Ezybuy Car Auctions live action arena and fun activities for the whole family, this year’s CRC Speedshow is another not-to-be-missed event.
