Decisions made on District Plan Change 23

Proposed Plan Change 23 amends the vegetation removal and remnant nikau palm protection provisions in the City of Lower Hutt District Plan.

The amendments include adding a new definition for the term ‘vegetation’ and geographically defining the areas where remnant nikau palms are located by adding Appendix Trees 2.

Any person who has made a submission or further submission on Proposed Plan Change 23 may appeal Council’s decision to the Environment Court on a matter or provision referred to in their submission.
