It can be more difficult to keep the spirits up in the colder months, especially if you live alone.
Don’t become isolated - plan now to stay busy, healthy and happy this winter.

Try and keep active at home. Remember to eat regularly and spread your chores out across the day so you’re keeping busy. Use your phone or internet to stay in touch if the weather is too cold to go out. Invite a friend or neighbour in for coffee or lunch. Take up a new hobby or interest that you can enjoy over the winter months.

Try to get out and about whenever possible. Social contact is very important for wellbeing. Consider joining a regular interest or activity group or volunteer to help a community organisation.
