Labour expresses sympathy at death of Sir Brian Talboys

Labour has expressed its deepest condolences to the family, friends and former colleagues of Sir Brian Talboys who has passed away.

“Sir Brian was a dedicated politician who served as Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister and held a number of other portfolios during his time in Parliament. He served his country with distinction and we thank him for his contribution,” said Labour Leader David Shearer.

“Our thoughts are with Sir Brian’s family and friends at this very sad time.”
