Latest figures show the Hamilton real estate market is undergoing a major recovery in 2012, says Lodge real estate’s “Rookie Of The Year” for 2011/2012, Hamilton-based Grant Paterson.

“February showed a 55% increase in the number of properties sold in the same month the previous year,” saysPaterson.

“There were 260 houses sold during the month of March and that was up 24% up on the same month a year earlier,” Grant Paterson says.

“The slight increase in the median selling price to $330,000 is reflective of the previous few months’ higher level of activity at the lower end of the market having a slight ripple effect through to the next bracket.   We do however feel that prices have not risen as the market is still price sensitive,”Patersonsaid.

Patersonsaid the increase in the number of property sales does mean that stock levels are now low and we are finding that we have many buyers chasing fewer well presented, well priced properties.”

‘My drive, your success,’ is Grant Paterson’s catchphrase, and he delivers on it with a determination and commitment that goes above and beyond to achieve results on behalf of his clients.

With a strong background of growing market share and profitability for his previous blue-chip employers as both a salesperson and leader, Grant now turns his people skills, business acumen and sales capability to helping people achieve their real estate goals.

Hardworking, genuine and people-focused, Grant aims to deliver a stress-free real estate experience by really listening to his client’s unique needs, working hard and smart to achieve the result they want, and bringing a smile to their face at the end of the day.

Grant’s drive to succeed is balanced by an approachable, empathetic and enthusiastic style that make him a joy to work through the process with.

A highly competitive sports person, Grant played first class rugby at both regional and national levels in a former life, but now prefers to unwind by competing in long distance recreational cycling events. He balances his sporting achievements with a healthy dose of family, friends and good books.

After just eight months in the job, Grant Paterson was named Lodge Real Estate’s “Rookie Of The Year” for 2011/2012.
