TNZ appoints GM Corporate Affairs

Tourism New Zealand is pleased to announce Chris Roberts has accepted the role of General Manager Corporate Affairs.

Chris joins TNZ from NZ Oil and Gas where he held the role of Corporate Affairs Manager. Chris previously held leadership roles in communications and public affairs at Transpower, and has worked as a press secretary in Parliament and Editor at Radio New Zealand. Chris' extensive communication, external relations and corporate affairs experience will further bolster the already very good capability we have in this area.

Chris starts with the organisation on 9 July 2012.
