P&G has announced the launch of Pantene Pro-V’s Intensive Damage Repair Oil, a leave-on hair treatment specifically designed to target split ends and dryness. The oil is the latest addition to Pantene’s new Gold Standard Formula collection, which has been proven to repair even the most tortured hair with the new lightweight formula.

The Pantene Pro-V Intensive Damage Repair Oil works to fight frizz and helps repair damage by coating each strand with the intense formula, sealing the cuticle to help protect hair from breakage.

Lais Koelle, Pantene Senior Scientist says, “The highly concentrated restorative components of the Intensive Damage Repair Oil facilitate the protection of fragile cuticles from the outside, while working to prevent protein loss from inside the hair shaft.”

The Intensive Damage Repair Oil is the latest addition to Pantene’s new Gold Standard Formula collection, to coincide with Procter & Gamble’s (P&G) role as an official sponsor of the London 2012 Olympic Games.

Directions for use:
·On dry hair, dispense a pea-sized drop onto the palm of your hand and spread evenly over hair, paying close attention to the ends and other damaged sections. Hair will instantly feel smoother and look shiny, without being weighed down.
·When applying to towel dried hair, dispense a 20 cent sized drop onto the palm of your hand, and spread evenly over damp hair, focusing on damaged ends. Hair will be protected from future damage brought about hair dryers and tongs
