Voting for Riccarton-Wigram Community Board member closes Friday 22 June

Residents who are on the electoral roll for the Riccarton-Wigram Ward have just over a week left to vote for a new Community Board member. Voting closes 12 noon on Friday 22 June 2012.

People who have not yet voted are encouraged to post their votes as soon as possible or return them to Upper Riccarton Library, 71 Main South Road or at Ground Floor Reception Civic Office, 53 Hereford Street.

Riccarton-Wigram residents who have still not received their voting papers can contact the Council on 941 8999 or go into the voting booth set up at the Upper Riccarton Library, 71 Main South Road.

Four nominations have been received: Natalie Bryden, Bob Shearing, John Stringer and Peter Yearbury.

The electoral roll for Riccarton-Wigram closed on Thursday 3 May 2012.

Special votes can be cast and are available from the Upper Riccarton Library, 71 Main South Road Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm up until 12 noon voting day Friday 22 June 2012.

Special votes are available for people who are on the unpublished roll, who have lost or spoilt their voting papers or who have recently moved to the ward and have lived there for at least one month prior to the 10 May 2012.
