Dr Levy reappointed as Chair of Waitemata DHB

Health Minister Tony Ryall today announced Dr Lester Levy has been reappointed as Chair of the Waitemata District Health Board.

“Dr Levy brings a great deal of experience and knowledge to the Board. He has an extensive health management background and strong governance experience, in both public and private health settings,” said Mr Ryall.

In addition to being Chair of Waitemata DHB, Dr Levy is also Chair of Auckland DHB.

Dr Levy was appointed Chair of Waitemata DHB in June 2009 and has since led the turnaround at the district health board.
