Now is the time to sign up for a stimulating week of learning at The University of Auckland’s 2012 Winter Week on Campus.

Taking place from 2-6 July, this year’s Winter Week includes a wide range of hot topics such as healthcare robots, foreign investment in New Zealand, the social forces of health and medicine, transformation through creativity, sustainable energies and engineering innovation, to name a few.

Morning and afternoon sessions feature lectures by distinguished University of Auckland faculty members, chosen for both their subject expertise and passion for teaching adult students, providing participants with an invaluable opportunity to immerse themselves in learning, debate current issues and meet new people.

Those attending need no experience of university study, just the drive to find out more about some of today’s key issues and the cutting edge research currently being carried out at the University.

In the words of a previous Winter Week attendee, the five-day event is “a great way to be re-introduced to topics you’re interested in or to be exposed to new subjects and ideas. Meeting other people with shared interests is a bonus”.

If you would like to participate in this year’s Winter Week, make sure you register by Friday, 29 June by contacting the Centre for Continuing Education on 0800 864 266 or you can enrol online at: www.cce.auckland.ac.nz

Three sessions, each with a choice of two lectures, will be run each day of Winter Week on Campus 2012. Winter Week will be held at The University of Auckland’s City Campus.
