Interactive wins multiple awards through innovative use of Microsoft technology.

Microsoft today announced the winners and finalists of its 2012 Microsoft Worldwide Partner of the Year Awards. NV Interactive has proven itself once again in the Web Development Partner of the Year category, taking out the top prize this year following its finalist position in 2011. In addition, the company won the award for Humanitarian Response of the Year for its contribution to the rebuild of Christchurch.

Auckland-based Kinetics was announced as a finalist in both the Small Business Specialist Partner of the Year and Innovative NGO Partner of the Year categories, for its work with Stewart Rehab, while Business Mechanix was recognised for its innovation in the Education Sector as a Finalist in the Public Sector, Education Partner of the Year Category.

This strong representation from New Zealand companies highlights the great work Kiwi companies are undertaking in this critical space. Intergen, was also recognised as New Zealand's Country Partner of the Year for the second time, having won the award in 2010.

The annual awards honour members of the Microsoft Partner Network for delivering exemplary customer solutions during the past year, using Microsoft technology. Award winners and finalists were chosen from nominations from around the world, with nearly 3,000 entries submitted by partners from more than 200 countries.

"We want congratulate all Kiwi winners and finalists of the Worldwide Partner Awards - there are many outstanding entries received from all over the world, and for so many New Zealand companies to be acknowledged as some of the most innovative in the world makes us very proud," says Paul Muckleston, Managing Director for Microsoft New Zealand.

"NV Interactive, Kinetics, Business Mechanix and Intergen have stamped their mark on the world, highlighting New Zealand as a centre of innovation. Through the development of creative Microsoft solutions and services, these partners have added significant value to their customers, exceeding expectations and helping to bolster their businesses."

NV Interactive is a full service digital agency that specialises in web design and development and digital strategy.

"After being a finalist last year in the Web Development category, we are thrilled to go one step further and win this highly competitive category this year. It is fantastic to be benchmarked on the world stage like this. Perhaps more importantly though is the recognition our second win in the Humanitarian Response Citizenship category gives to our Christchurch team for their frankly superhuman efforts supporting the post-quake recovery efforts. We are extremely proud to have played such a key role in supporting our community through this unimaginable time," says Matt Pickering, CEO of NV Interactive.

Winners and finalists will be recognised at the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference 2012 which is being held 8-12 July in Toronto, Canada with New Zealand being represented by over 60 partners.
