New online map to see, eat and do in Christchurch

Christchurch City Council has launched a new online interactive map – Find:Chch that allows people to access up-to-date information about what there is to see, eat and do in Christchurch.

Richard Stokes Marketing Manager says Find:Chch is a quick and easy way to find what you are looking for – from markets to places to stay, free Wi-Fi spots, parks, accommodation and shopping. The map is located on the Findchch.com website.

“The map is regularly updated which means residents, and visitors to the city, now have accurate and current information on hand. Find:Chch is also available ‘on-the-go’ on mobile devices such as tablets and iPhones,” he says.

Mayor Bob Parker says Find:Chch is a dynamic tool that sends a clear message that Christchurch is open for business with lots of great experiences and attractions on offer for residents and visitors alike.

“Find:Chch has been set up to be responsive to the current fluid environment – things to see and do can easily be updated or added at any time. This online map will be an invaluable tool for connecting people with these places as the city’s rebuild and recovery continues.”
