Marlborough-Christchurch rebuild opportunities

The Marlborough District Council is working with the Marlborough Chamber of Commerce to bring some key figures working on the Christchurch rebuild to Blenheim to talk about the jobs and opportunities in post-quake Christchurch.

Marlborough businesses and those looking for work are invited to come and hear from:

  • Tom McBrearty, chair of the Canterbury Communities Earthquake Recovery Network and CEO of Salcom
  • Anthony Leighs, CEO Leighs Construction
  • Ernest Duval, director of Fortis Construction and Equity Trust Pacific
  • Ian Smith, director of Arrow International (NZ) Ltd based in Christchurch
  • Andrew Lawson, of Andrew Lawson Builder Ltd
  • Carl Pascoe, a Christchurch-based facilitator who has handled accreditation requirements for Fletchers Construction and the EQC.

The Marlborough District Council, Marlborough Chamber of Commerce and The Marlborough Express are jointly supporting MACRO: a Marlborough Christchurch Rebuild Opportunities Forum.
