Community News - Peace Walk

September 21 is the thirtieth anniversary of the UN International Peace Day. Marlborough will be celebrating it with a Peace Walk on Sunday 23 September – gathering at the amphitheatre for a 1.00 pm start; walking up the Taylor River to Brayshaw Park; catching the Riverside Railway “Peace Train” back ($2); getting together for a coffee afterwards.

An easy walk suitable for all ages and levels of fitness and you can bring banners, flags or balloons if you wish. Peace begins in our own hearts, homes and communities.
