'Hunt for your new ute' says Federated Farmers

Federated Farmers is joining what could be New Zealand’s best ever scavenger hunt.  Fronted by Swazi’s Davey Hughes, farmers are being given a great opportunity to not only find an Isuzu D-Max Ute, but if they do, they get to keep it.

“Federated Farmers couldn’t be happier to join with Isuzu Utes NZ on a great competition,” says Bruce Wills, Federated Farmers President.

“As scavenger hunts go, this is a truly good one. When $55,000 utes are involved, ‘gratis’ is the one word of Latin we farmers get the meaning of.

“Those wanting to join the hunt can do so by registering online at www.isuzuutes.co.nz.

“Davey Hughes is fronting the scavenger hunt and is well known to farmers as the head of Swazi.  Being a D-Max driver, you can safely say he is putting his signature to how good these utes really are.

“Somewhere in the North Island there is a D-Max with another hidden in the South Island.  Davey Hughes released his first video last week to introduce the quarry but his next clue-filled video is out today.

“There will be five videos over the four weeks the competition will run and each will contain clues to exactly where the D-Max’s are hidden.

“Solve the clues, find it and you’ll get to keep it.”

“To help fuel interest in the competition, Federated Farmers is pumping a MobilCard with $1,000.  It is a small bonus to the competition and if the winning farmer already holds a MobilCard through Federated Farmers, we will credit it with that amount.

“Given most farmers are now in to the business part of the season, after calving and lambing, we are delighted to be working with Davey Hughes, Isuzu Utes NZ and other partners to give farmers this chance to find a great early Christmas gift,” Mr Wills concluded.

Everyone loves a treasure hunt but how often do you find a brand new ute at the end of it? Never, right. However this time that’s exactly what we have! There’s one to be found in both Islands.

We’ve joined up with Isuzu Utes NZ to give you a chance to get in the hunt for the all new D-MAX ute, which is launching this month.

How It Works

Davey Hughes from Swazi clothing is a mad keen hunter. He drives the D-MAX and thought it might be fun to make a hunt of his own to help you find a couple. Over four weeks he’ll release five separate videos, full of clues that will lead you to a hidden Isuzu D-MAX. If you find it, you keep it. You just have to be able to read the signs. This is a true hunt and we think it’s a good bit of fun our community might enjoy.
