Lifetime Group has moved to new offices in Christchurch, on the corner of Moorhouse Ave and Montreal Street (192 Moorhouse Avenue).

An official opening with clients, staff and Christchurch businesspeople was held on Friday evening to celebrate the move, a very successful last twelve month and all being together again.

CEO of Lifetime Group Limited (LGL) Warren Stephens, says the Lifetime team has been tremendously patient and focused at what has been a difficult time for many.

“As we have grown, Lifetime always planned to move into new premises from our head offices in Salisbury Street, however the events of the last couple of years meant we had to change our timelines,” he says.

Now all 50 Christchurch staff and advisers are in the same building after having to work in locations across the city for the previous eighteen months.

The move caps off a successful year for Lifetime Group, with a growing client base, increase in staff numbers and the acquiring of Wellington based Meridian Brokers (financial advisors) in June this year.

Warren Stephens says Lifetime Group continues to adapt to ensure growth, strength and resilience moving forward, for Lifetime’s advisors and clients.

”With regulatory changes brought in 15 months ago affecting all financial service providers and financial advisers, the resulting new environment is likely to mean that smaller financial advisory businesses or advisors working on their own, will find it increasingly difficult to continue in the sector.”

Stephens says the increased size of Lifetime Group and their unique value proposition, allows advisors to be even better supported and be able to move quickly as the market demands.

“We are furthering our position as New Zealand’s leading fully integrated financial advice business which is great for the sector and our clients,” he says.

Lifetime Group was also recently named as a finalist in the New Zealand Insurance Industry Awards - Small to Medium Size Broking Company of the Year with the winner being announced on 1st November.
